The overarching role of the Member Development Vice President is to lead the Member Development Team in the oversight and implementation of the chapter’s member education programming. With the desire and ability to inspire individual chapter members to learn and practice the ethics of Alpha Xi Delta, she strategically sets goals to achieve member education priorities. She broadens the education of chapter members and fosters individual development so that each member can attain their highest potential. As a member of the Executive Committee, the Member Development Vice President provides strategic direction for the chapter, updates everyone on all the work occurring, and works to problem solve and brainstorm solutions for current and future challenges for the chapter and campus.

The Mental Health Chair is a vital advocate for emotional well-being and self-care within the sorority, fostering a supportive and compassionate environment for all members. This role involves planning initiatives, workshops, and events that promote mental health awareness, stress management, and wellness practices. The chair serves as a resource, connecting members with campus counseling services, hotlines, and other mental health professionals while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
